British Airways American Express Credit Card is designed for individuals wishing to take advantage of the travel rewards program awarding British Airways miles on virtually all purchase transactions. Members accumulate miles to redeem for a free flight to a preferred destination within the United Kingdom. Card members who partake in the rewards program will earn 1 BA point per pound spent on eligible transactions. New members receive 1,000 bonus BA miles while older members who refer a friend receive 2,000 bonus BA miles. Members who have spent up to £20,000 throughout the preceding year qualify for a free companion ticket when redeeming miles earned.
